Medair United States is a branch of the international relief organization Medair. Having volunteered in headquarters for three months, I can honestly attest to the great work Medair is doing around the globe. When responding to the crisis in the Philippines, staff members left everything and were on the ground in 48 hours, responding to health and shelter needs that Typhoon Haiyan brought.

Now, Medair staff have remained in South Sudan even amidst current internal conflict. The people are dedicated to providing relief where no one else wants to go. Everyone in the field goes through screening at headquarters and the entire community feels like a family.

I can think of no better organization to support as Medair works to support the world's most vulnerable.
