Review for A Forever-Home Rescue Foundation, Inc., Chantilly, VA, USA
I became a foster parent after hearing about AFH and them getting a large number of dogs from a hoarders home. Since becoming a volunteer I have been so impressed how the organization is operated, the dedication of the volunteers in leadership roles and the wonderful feeling one gets from helping these wonderful animals find a forever home. I only wish I could do more when the urgent requests come. God bless everyone at AFH.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would give them a huge endowment. Unfortunately I don't have the resources. Maybe someone who reads this does and would want to put their resources to a very good cause.

Oh, wow! The hoarding cases can be rough. The dogs are often in terrible shape and sometimes not very well socialized. Becoming a foster during one of our "hoarder take-downs" takes a special person, and we can't express our appreciation enough! Watching as the scared, dirty, sickly dogs when they enter the foster home and then seeing the end result of a happy, healthy, well-adjusted dog going to their forever homes lets us know that our fosters do an amazing job!
