Review for India Development and Relief Fund (IDRF), N Bethesda, MD, USA
I have PERSONALLY WITNESSED THE THE IMMENSE help that IDRF gives people in India and Nepal.
IDRF has a grass root network in India that is part of a first responder group that 1st shows up when no one dares to go there. A lot of these events are not even reported by media who are either intimidated or given money by terrorist forces .
E.g. islamic terrorist bombings of a train . IDRF helpers are present there to rescue the victims and take them to the hospital.
However when IDRF requests that the terrorists and their link to political parties be investigated their name gets smudged and false allegations are leveled on it.

I would like to clarify - IDRF works with reputable NGOs in India, and some of them have been first responders in case of disasters. IDRF's programs - including disaster relief - do not discriminate on the basis of caste, community, or religion of the victims.
