The TEARS Foundation helps support families after the loss of a baby in pregnancy or infancy - helping families be able to afford to bury their baby and/or have a grave marker. In addition, The TEARS Foundation offers emotional support in a variety of ways. I started volunteering in the beginning of 2012 and became a Co-Leader for the State of Florida in 2013. I have seen first hand the families we have helped and just a few days ago was on the phone with a Mom who said, "I can't say thank you enough - it brought me so much peace to be able to bury my baby." In our support group, we have families come back again and again to receive the comfort of being able to share in ways they can't on the outside. I am very grateful to be part of The TEARS Foundation - to know that we are doing work that really matters.
