Review for New Beginnings Singles Support Group-Norwell, Norwell, MA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

This is a one-of-a-kind support organization is the geographic area that offers compassionate, thoughtful and caring self-help facilitated group support for those who have experienced a loss. My loss was through divorce and in less than 3 months I had progressed far beyond my previous 2 years in private counseling. Can't speak highly enough about their work and the great need they fill. I believe in it so highly that I have since become an officer as a way of giving back.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I speak with many people who find their experiences at New Beginnings invaluable and cherish their Monday night meetings. Others who are out of crisis feel connected when previously they were isolated and alone.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Working with people who are caring, compassionate and committed to the continuation and constant improvement of services offered by New Beginnings. Also, being able to help others on their journey, while still learning about myself.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Committed to providing a safe environment where people can continue to heal and grow 52 weeks a year. Their concern for others and their compassion is visible throughout any Monday evening there.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

offer a safe environment for anyone who is devastated over a loss because of divorce, separation or widowhood. They could also offer healing and wholeness in all 50 states and in other countries.

Ways to make it better...

I had gone to New Beginnings sooner.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009

Role:  Board Member & I facilitated all level self-help groups; became President and co-applied for their 501c3 to the IRS, as well as developed a committee to design their new website.
