IDRF as the most cost effective & successful non-profit charity,has made tremendous & long lasting impact at grass root level on health,education & empowerment of deprived &marginalized communities in rural India. For the past 25 yrs. it's been a major recipient of our family charity donation fund.Thanks to generous & sustained generosity of my family & friends--- Women's Education Center--Mahila Swavalamban Kendra in Ahmedabad, became a reality in 2004. This project selection was based on Dr. Vinod Prakash's visit to the center in a rented facility, foresight & recommendation. A Beautiful three level building, well designed,quality construction--serves as a magnet of learning in marketable skills in tailored garments,decorative crafts,computer,self-empowerment & leadership training.As well as powerful agents of change in communities & nation at large
