Our relationship with the CHC began in 1990 with the birth of our first child. We attended classes which not only provided us with invaluable insights into the development of our child but also became the foundation of lifelong friendships. As the years went on we turned to the CHC for help with issues involving anxiety and ADHD in our child, and once again the CHC provided answers, reassurance and guidance. We decided that we wanted to be a part of this wonderful organization in order that it might help others and so we became donors, volunteers and ultimately, one of us, a board member. Our relationship with the CHC has now spanned 23 years and we have watched it change and grow. The addition of Dr. Rosalie Whitlock as the executive director has brought a new era to the CHC as Rosalie has honed the goals of the CHC, assembled an expert staff with quick attention to family needs and exceptional follow up. We could not recommend the CHC more highly and even though our children are now adults, and the board term has expired, we continue to be involved, refer families without reservation and support the CHC with our donations. The CHC will be a lifelong commitment for our family's charitable donations.
