Review for Compass Family Services, San Francisco, CA, USA
I have been involved with Compass on a number of levels over the past twenty years. I originally worked alongside them advocating for homeless families and youth in San Francisco when I worked at another agency. When I began a non-profit consulting business, I helped them on a grant to secure federal funding for Clara House, their transitional housing facility for homeless families. I've adopted families during their holiday season and most recently I've been involved volunteering to secure donated furniture deliver it to the homes of newly housed families.

Watching Compass assume a leadership role (if not THE leadership role) in helping families to end the cycle of homelessness. They are doing everything they can to help these families in crisis!

help partner with a non-profit developer to fund additional housing and provide support services to get more families off the streets or out of their cars. It could also provide more daycare for the families trying to find or hold on to jobs
