Review for Society of St. Andrew, Big Island, VA, USA
My one and only experience with SoSA and gleaning impressed me enough that I would love to do it again. The food (apples) we gleaned would have gone to waste if not for the gleaning. The majority of the apples were very good and provided fruit to the Salvation Army and others. This was a wonderful way to include our special needs child. It was something easy for him to do and was helping others in the process. The individual from SoSA was very friendly and it was an enjoyable day.
