tipping a cat's ear is not barbaric. letting cats breed even once is barbaric. as someone who has dealt with feral cats for years I know tipping the ear is vital to knowing who is who. rescue ranch does a wonderful and vital service for the cat population and I dearly hope everyone will take advantage of it as I have many times. I long for the day when there is not even one homeless cat. maybe then I can take a vacation. until that day I will continue to rescue every cat I can and have them spayed and neutered and ear tipped at rescue ranch.
