Review for Greyhound Adoption Center, La Mesa, CA, USA
I first became affiliated with Greyhound Adoption Center when I adopted an ex-racer in 2009. That initial experience has been life changing for me! This organization does an outstanding job with rescuing and rehabilitating retired racers, including the provision of exemplary medical care for dogs that are ill and injured.
Being a member has been an affordable way for me to support the ongoing work of this great organization. The sponsorship program is another really neat way to help, I enjoy getting a picture of my "sponsor dog" each month and a letter from one of the volunteers who writes about how my special needs hound is doing.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Although the Rescue/Rehabilitation Center sits on a beautifully maintained piece of property, some of the buildings could benefit from some upgrades.
