I love my two cats that I have gotten from them however they have become two of the most expensive cats I have ever owned. They are both strictly indoor cats and both were tested with an extreme strong positive of having bartonella (cat scratch fever) my vet has told me how highly contagious this is and now have to get everyone in the house tested including the humans... being that these cats were at the shelter I advise anyone who has bought a cat from them in the last 4 years to get them tested. This can be very deadly to your cat and even you! In response this would be my nick name and married name so you would not find a Cassie Watton in your records. These cats have never had fleas in my care. Also having two other cats and a dog my vet who has dealt closely with the disease has said every animal must be tested as it can be transmitted by scratches even to other cats and this obviously is not a disease you test for since it is not something most vets test for.
