Review for Larchmont-Mamaroneck Hunger Task Force Inc, Larchmont, NY, USA
I've been volunteering for several years with this wonderful community organization. being skeptical at first, I am totally committed to the notion of selfless efforts on the part of a group of people coming together year after year to bring basic needs to families. what truly impresses me is that there is no arm-twisting or pleading necessary.. everyone wants to be there and if you can't make it sometimes, there are others who will pitch in happily. our clients often volunteer as well. This is an organization that has grown over the years but still feels small enough to bring everyone together. I feel priveleged to be a part of it.

seeing several clients whom i've come to know be in the community in new jobs that they've obtained, hopefully to be more self-sufficient, but also knowing that they can always come to us for help
