Review for Kitten Rescue, Los Angeles, CA, USA
In the past, I worked with 2 other rescue groups. They were effective and competent. But Kitten Rescue is even more so, extremely well organized, very large, saving hundreds of animals, and always putting the cats ahead of any other concerns.
Review for Kitten Rescue, Los Angeles, CA, USA
I joined Kitten Rescue about 1 -1/2 years ago, after decades of experience saving cats on my own (much more difficult) and about 8 years working with another couple of rescue groups. KR is fantastic and totally professional in every way, well organized and knowledgeable. I have been able to foster 33 cats and kittens, plus 1 dog, for the group. Almost all of them have been adopted, both from their website and from their adoption events.
I really appreciate how, whenever I find an animal on the street, KR is immediately willing to take it on, even when there's a big vet or surgery bill. In our neighborhood there are many, many strays and so I've taken advantage of that policy a number of times. And when a pair of adult male cats was returned after having been adopted 2 years before, before I joined KR, they took them too (they found a good home together). It's all about the cats with Kitten Rescue! The first photo is of the current foster kittens, the second is of the first fosters for KR.

Mary Cummins took a baby opossum from me that I found in my yard. She raised the baby to releasable age and then let her go to the wild. Since then she has generously answered any and all questions about wildlife and domesticated animals that I've had. She consistently goes above and beyond in her work with animals and people.
