Review for Northwest Education Access, Seattle, WA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

SEA is a community of people who just want to help. When you come into the office, STAFF TREAT YOU LIKE A PERSON NOT A NUMBER. That is the key difference with SEA. I feel like no matter what they will support me. No other organization treats their "client" base like we are their neighbors, SEA staff will also get on the same level with students and that makes me feel like a person vs a number. I was having issues with my Financial Aid going through, and it was my first quarter. SCCC was going to drop my classes because my financial aid had not gone through, at that point I was going to drop out because again I felt like I was worthless and could not do anything with my life. I came into the office and Polly immediately got me re-motivated and gave me the confidence that everything was going to be ok, I applied for a scholarship and I GOT IT. They paid for my tuition and books that quarter. Thanks SEA for everything you have done for me and my family.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Because my first quarter ever at the age of 27 I received a GPA of 3.35, I had not been in school since I was 16. SEA's programs work!!!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The community feeling.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

helpful, kind, compassionate and caring.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

go national, but I believe that would never happen because they want to keep the level of their service high and individualized.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
