Review for Society of St. Andrew, Big Island, VA, USA
My husband, and I, and our 3 young sons (ages 2, 5, and 7) have all been able to participate in gleaning projects with SOSA. It's often challenging to find charitable projects that we can do as a whole family, and SOSA does an outstanding job of welcoming families. We picked blueberries over the summer and our boys had buckets overflowing with berries! We were able to deliver them to a food shuttle that delivers fresh produce to neighboring counties. SOSA does an excellent job of communicating with us, and keeps us updated on all projects.
