Hi. I'm John Foubert. Back in 1998, I led a group of 30 people across the nation to form One in Four. Since that time, our programs have been presented worldwide to over 100,000 people on hundreds of college campuses and in four branches of the military on several continents.
We end rape through research based programming. Data published in peer reviewed journals shows that our programs lead to 40% declines in sexual assault, increases in bystander intervention, and changed lives.
Giving to One in Four supports our efforts to end rape on U.S. college campuses and in the U.S. Military. We are the only organization that can tell you that our programs show a long term, lasting effect on sexual assault behavior.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I hope that we can find the resources to add more staff who can spread our message deeper into society on a grass roots level. We want to change our name from One in Four, to One in Five, Six, Seven... and see the rate of rape in the U.S. fall quickly and permanently. With the right resources, we can accomplish this together!
