One of the key reasons we chose Russia when adopting our two kids was that we'd heard some scary stats. We were told that kids were put out of orphanages at 15 or 16 years old. After that, nearly 90% ended up in crime or prostitution or committing suicide. They don't know how else to survive. When I learned about Orphan's Tree, I was so encouraged! Someone is showing Christ's love and compassion to these young people. Someone is showing them a better way to survive and thrive in a difficult circumstance. Someone is telling kids who've spent most of their lives feeling unloved that they have a father who loves them! We consider it an honor to be able to support such a wonderful, committed organization.
