I was introduced to His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda Giri by a dear friend at a classical musical concert presented by Self Enquiry Life Fellowship. Even though my interaction with His Holiness was brief I felt a connection and divine pull to learn more about the organization.

Soon I realized that SELF wasn't just a spiritual nonprofit, rather it was much more. SELF actively preserves and disseminates ancient Sanskrit knowledge. The organization covers a wide range of topics: yoga, meditation, Ayurvedic cooking, wellness, music, classical dance and more.

It is only after I began volunteering with SELF that I realized the true essence of selfless service. The idea of giving without any expectations. What I appreciate most is the values that we uphold come straight from the Vedic text and we are able to incorporate these teachings into our lives.

I enjoy serving among like minded individuals who have the same spiritual desires. Together we uncover the secrets of life and with the divine guidance of His Holiness we are all able to transform in this life time. I am truly humbled that I have an opportunity to serve among such wonderful and devoted souls.
