Review for Self Enquiry Life Fellowship, Penn Valley, CA, USA
My first exposure to Self Enquiry Life Fellowship (S.E.L.F) was at a fellowship organized in Houston. That is where i met Swami Vidyadhishananda Giri for the first time. After a few minutes of conversation it dawned on me that I am in presence of a great spiritual master. In the following year, I was initiated into the Kriya Laya meditation by Swamiji.
Personally, it has been a very uplifting experience to be associated with Swamiji and the non-profit organization. I have become more positive and optimistic in my outlook. Swamiji has a divine prowess to distill the essence of complex sanskrit treatises. I am always mesmerized by his genius to correlate spiritual ideals with day-to-day existence. His lectures delivered with scholarly erudition, combined sharp wit, and precise purpose are spiritual treats in themselves.
S.E.L.F is a spiritual platform deeply rooted in the Sanskrit tradition. The organization is active into preserving and disseminating the ancient Sanskrit heritage. To date, the organization has produced a range of products covering the spectrum of heritage - scholarly lectures, music, visual arts (photography) in form of CDs, DVDs, books and posters. In addition, wellness workshops, spiritual retreats and fellowships via live streaming are organized on a regular basis. This is indicative of the prolific vision of the organization and dynamic verve in realizing the vision.
I have learnt the true meaning of "sewaa" (service) from S.E.L.F. I am deeply moved and inspired by the devotional dedication of all the volunteers and staff. Under the divine guidance of Swamiji, this organization has set the highest of standards for all non-profit organization.
