Review for Childrens Health Council Inc, Palo Alto, CA, USA
I have been a CHC Auxiliary Member for 8 years. I am now serving my second term as Auxiliary President. In addition to my roll with the Auxiliary, I volunteer as a part of the Pet Assisted Therapy Program with my Golden Retriever, Molly Rose. I have been privileged to interact with not only the CHC Agency Staff but also with the teachers, clinicians, therapists and the wonderful children assisted by CHC. It is amazing to view the care, love and dedication offered to all CHC clients. It is so rewarding to have a first hand opportunity to understand the value of care that CHC offers. Every smile and laugh coming from our CHC kids is worth every volunteer hour. This year, CHC has provided support to over 1500 families from all over the Peninsula. I salute all of these caring professionals. Children's Health Council is celebrating its 60th year! The original vision of Dr. Esther B. Clark lives on and continues to grow.
