The GLBT Advocacy & Youth Services Organization and its very capable and hard-working director have significantly enhanced awareness of, respect for, and acceptance of GLBTQ issues. I am deeply moved whenever I have the chance to witness how they fight for human rights and actively extend assistance to all those in need of support, consolation, and solidarity. This organization has become an indispensable asset to the wider public in the city and region, and deserves continued recognition.
