Review for Gilmore | Henne Community Fund, Reading, PA, USA
I have watched this organization grow from heartbreak when John Gilmore took his toddler son to see where he played as a child before playing for the NFL. HIs voice cracked as he told me of drug paraphernalia, graffiti and dangerously broken playground equipment. He teamed with Chad Henne and have fought non-sensical local officials, lack of resources and back-breaking fatigue to provide the children of Reading PA (now cited as one of the poorest areas in America) with hope, joy and smiles. I will be loyal to this group forever.
