We are currently on staff with HFH, but two years ago we were being served by this great organization when our oldest son was diagnosed with leukemia. We came to Memphis knowing our family was too large for hospital provided housing and wondered how we would keep our family together. That very same week we got connected with HFH and moved into one of the apartments they had available. It was a blessing in many ways; our family could stay together and be as normal as possible, it saved us the cost of having to rent an apartment and we were served so well by volunteers who brought us meals each week, prayed with us and became our friends. We love HFH for many reasons and are forever grateful for the love and support we were shown during one of the most difficult times in our life.
