Somewhere around 3 years ago, my family faced a difficult time in learning that our first son was going to need a liver transplant. Not only was the emotional and mental stress taxing to our family but the financial burdens were becoming overwhelming as well. As we were spending much time in the hospital, our morale was slowly dwindling away. An unexpected light came from Habitat for Hope and their volunteers. They provided us with meals, fellowship, and the much needed support and prayer to help see us through our difficult circumstance. I'm proud to say that we now have to very healthy boys, but most importantly we have cherished memories from that time period in our lives and it's more than partially due to the outstanding treatment we received from the Angels that volunteer for Habitat for Hope and the service they so adamantly provide. I not only endorse what Habitat for Hope stands for to my friends and family but I am forever in debt to them for their unselfishness in the community.
