I have volunteered for Children's Health Council for over 8 years and have fallen in love with the work they do. They are a great community resource for kids that think and learn differently and can give simple consultations or extensive evaluations for social emotional issues or learning issues, especially for kids with symptoms of ADHD, Learning Differences, Anxiety and Depression or Autism. They have even developed Sand Hill School for kids that are bright but struggling and need more personal attention, and have had the Esther B. Clark School for many, many years for kids with more severe behavioral issues. The Community Clinic works with underserved famlies in satellite offices throughout the bay area... What a great service to our community. I highly recommend taking your child there if worried or unsure about developmental progress. You will find wonderful, kind experts to take care of you.
