Review for Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, Boston, MA, USA
The Rose Kennedy Greenway is critical to the vibrancy of the city as far as I am concerned. I grew up here and remember the days when there was a mjor disconnect from the harbor/No End, etc. Now I am able to walk along the Greenway and really enjoy being in the city! I have taken out of town guests and after walking the Greenway up to get a connaoli in the No End then turned back and used it to get to the Harbor walk. I frequently walk along it during good weather from my office downtown. The events are well done and for someone who loves to garden - there is always somthing blooming! It now has a fabulous carrousel that is one of the few handicap accessible in NE - what a greta addition and how wonderful for kids who have physical challneges. The whimsy andcreativity either on the caroussel, the steam cooling you down in one section in the summer, the open spcae where little kids are running around - it has all meant a great deal to me. It has created a community from across Boston!
