Review for Beyond Shelter, Los Angeles, CA, USA
I was Beyond Shelter's first program director, working with Tanya to build the program in its first years of operation. I love the concept of moving families into their home as soon as possible - the idea was truly an innovation in its time, when few were focused on the needs of homeless families.

Role: Former staff & I supervised the case management program and later developed the national technical assistance program. I current attend the Coordinating Council for Homeless Families meetings led by Beyond Shelter.
