Review for IndyKids, New York, NY, USA
Kids are not living in a vacuum, and are constantly absorbing and engaging with the stories that are unfolding around them on local, national and global levels. IndyKids provides them with the tools to critically engage with issues that are important to them an their communities. Their instinctive ability to ask straightforward questions in a world where adults have mastered the art doublespeak makes them natural journalists. With some guidance from mentors and editors, they consistently produce an incredible news source that succeeds in breaking down tough concepts for other kids. IndyKids empowers kids to teach other kids about the world around them.
