I have been on the Board of Directors since this project began. We are a small organization but so very well connected with partners that really bring our funds to action at the site in Karagwe. We have engaged and committed folk on-site that manage the funds and supervise/direct the construction of buildings and have a skilled and effective team that has developed the curriculum for the courses to be taught. The local government has also endorsed the University which is to say all the right people are supporting this effort. It has been a privilege to be a part and see our plan come to fruition. It is gratifying to get the feed back from the people of Karagew who are so very excited as they see the progress which for them builds hope. Hope that they will be able to have resources to improve their lives.
