Lazarex has been a Godsend. In June of 2013 I was diagnosed with Stage IV Melanoma without very many good options. However, with the help of my doctors I was able to enroll in a clinical trial at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. for the specific BRAF mutation that I had. But in order to participate in the trial, I would have to travel to Tampa every week for a day or two for the first two to three months and then monthly thereafter. Aside from being a travel burden, 500 miles each way and about 7 -8 hours on the road, it was a financial burden. I then met Tami and her wonderful organization who offered us some financial assistance for the travel. Anyone reading this knows how expensive it is fighting cancer and the stress it puts on everyone. Lazarex has been a real lifesaver for us. This foundation really helps those in need at the time they need it. In situations where good news is not often a daily occurrence, Lazarex makes everyone's day just a little brighter with their generosity.
The good news for me, however, is that the treatment seems to be working and the future holds much more promise. Lazarex will continue to be in my prayers and I'm sure they will continue making positive changes in people's lives.
