The work of the Wolf Conservation Center is essential. So much to say. The staff is amazing... tirelessly dedicated to educating people about the importance of wolves and their essential role in our ecosystem. Wolves are at risk and the work of the WCC is more important than ever. I'm a big believer and learning through direct experience and that is what they strive to do. If you can't visit the center and the wolves, the beautiful Ambassador, Atka will come try and come to you! They work to dispel the myths and misinformation about wolves which is so important. And the center in South Salem... beautiful. It's an amazing experience to be in the woods amongst howling wolves. Coming from NYC it's another world that many have us have become disconnected from. I can't recommend the WCC enough. Visit if you can!
