Review for Center For International Environmental Law (CIEL), Washington, DC, USA
I have known and collaborated with CIEL in various capacities for more than 15 years now. It is one of the most effective of the citizen organizations I have worked with around the old and I have had relationships with hundreds of them. It is especially effective in its work in global processes like the climate change convention and the World Trade Organization where it is highly influential. Is work in developing countries has also been strategic. I have always known its lawyer's and staff as excellent and truly world-class.
