Review for Ceres, Boston, MA, USA
Having worked in both the privat and nonprofit sectors, I can understand and appreciate Ceres' unique fusion of the two approaches to advocy. By harnessing the power of the world's most prominent and influential businesses and investors, the organization truly makes the business case for sustainability with a range of well-credentialed messengers. This is an organization that truly "punches above its weight" with large businesses like Coca-Cola, the Walt Disney Company, and the largest banks in America. Ceres' "Climate Declaration" campaign is a phenomenal example of the organizations ability to influence top-level decisionmakers, in this case the President, to spur action on climate change.
