Having volunteered at Swamahiman, I have been privileged to experience and learn the functioning of a nonprofit in accordance with the highest standards of Sanskrit scriptures. The entire paradigm of Swamahiman is based on the scriptural guidance, which is abided to very carefully even in most difficult situations. There is highest level of transparency in the functioning of the organization, without compromises and concessions! The projects undertaken by the nonprofit are carefully and thoughtfully chosen to further its mission and vision. Each project is beautifully executed with tireless efforts of our head Monk, the staff, and volunteers. It is a joy to see beautiful results of everyone’s efforts in the form of CDs and DVDs of Vedic teachings and Vedic music; archives of rare Vedic arts; and spiritual congregations and retreats! Being part of Swamahiman has changed the path of my life. It has brought so much meaning and joy to the journey that we have to go through after coming on this planet!
