Review for Lazarex Cancer Foundation, Danville, CA, USA
After finding out I had leiomyosarcoma and the only specialists that might be able to help me was located in Santa Monica, California (300 miles away one way) or at M.D. Anderson in Houston, Texas (much farther away) from Henderson, NV, I was in a dilemma of how to fund the traveling to receive the treatments. When I stumbled across Lazarex Cancer Foundation, I felt it was a message from God to try the clinical trial, otherwise, I would be dead within 6 months time. So, I decided to try the treatments and without Lazarex, I wouldn't have been able to make the trips to receive my chemotherapy every 3 weeks for 6 months. And thanks to them and my oncologist, my tumors have shrunk to 1/2 the size and have been stable for the last 10 months after my last chemo. On top of that, Tami has always been so compassionate and understanding to my needs, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.
