Review for Oscar Litwak Foundation, Santa Monica, CA, USA
I found the Oscar Litwak Foundation as a Child Life Specialist searching for programs to bring in-hospital for pediatric patients.....and have simply fallen in love with the program, how solidly established it is, and how invaluable it is to pediatric patients and instilling the value of play with medical staff working with pediatric patients and families. I've since become a board member and am involved in introducing Oscar Litwak Foundation to new hospitals and I support fundraising efforts.....I honestly can't say enough for the difference Oscar Litwak Foundation has been able to make for pediatric patients and taking the focus off of medical needs and making the experience more about children needing to play and experience "normal" childhood fun in the not-so-child-friendly world of medical care.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
My only change would be to give them unlimited funding to provide mobile play programs to every hospital in need....but I think given how they do what they do, they're doing everything right!!!
