Review for El Porvenir, Broomfield, CO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

H2O for Life engages youth across the country to investigate the global water crisis while taking action to raise funds to provide water, sanitation and hygiene education to schools in developing countries. El Porvenir is our NGO partner in Nicaragua. They provide a school to school connection with photos, project desriptions and stories about life in one school. Over the past 6 years, H2O for Life has donated more than $80,000 for projects through El Porvenir. I personally volunteered on a "work" team and know that the work being done is making a difference for schools and communities in Nicaragua.

They are one of our TOP NGO partners that we have worked with. We can't imagine doing our work without including El Porvenir as a top provider of schools.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Provision of GPS coordinates to all school projects that would help our US schools be able to locate the exact school location within the country. More photos- But- El Porvenir is at the top of the bar for our NGO partner relationships.

Review for Drop in The Bucket, Los Angeles, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

H2O for Life and Drop in the Bucket have been collaborating on WASH in Schools projects for the past 4 years. Drop in the Bucket is doing amazing work in sub-Saharan Africa. The mission of H2O for Life is to engage youth to learn about the global water crisis. Drop in the Bucket has been our “go-to” organization for compelling photos, information and stories that are essential for our service-learning projects. When we suggest developing country school projects for US school partners, Drop in the Bucket is on the top of our list. Our schools then go into action to raise funds to support water, sanitation and hygiene education implemented by Drop in the Bucket. They are reliable, develop sustainable projects and deliver reports on time, but more importantly, are doing great work at schools that is changing lives.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Encourage Drop in the Bucket to gather more personal stories from the youth in developing countries that are impacted by the projects. Follow up with a story one year post project would be compelling and inspiring to schools that have previously engaged with support.
