I recently adopted from this organization. My hubby and I were always interested in adopting a retired greyhound, the time was never right. We have been without a dog for 6 years and were not even looking for a pet at the time. We happened to meet this group at a local community event.
We met some adopters and dogs and left.... But the organization just kept staying with us. We were so impressed with their prison partnership and allowing inmates to train the dogs.
We checked out their website and found our new little family member.
Their assesment of the dog was spot-on, they insure you have a counselor to help you through the process before and after you bring the dog home. This organization is tremondously invested in the dogs they adopt out and the owners that bring them home. I am beyond pleased.
