Review for Northend Jewish School, Seattle, WA, USA
Over four years ago I was a student at this school. The three years I learned at this school were something remarkable. Not only did I learn about Judaism and general knowledge (math, reading, etc.), but I learned that you need to be against fighting and that there is always a peaceful way to resolve a conflict. During my time we were at the old building adjacent to the synagogue, but they're now at the new building, which, sadly, I wasn't able to learn at. Nevertheless, I visited the school at the new building about three and a half years ago and it is still the remarkable place that I remember. Today we need these type of school, and being in different places across the planet, I really know. Long live SJCS!!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Learning (I was at the school as a student for three years: kindergarten, first grade, and second grade) My behavior, my attitude towards things, my ways of solving problems, etc.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Make a better P.E. class and dance class Build a better playground
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
- Tikun olam (making the world a better place) - Intuitive teaching methods - We would celebrate the Jewish and Israeli holiday by "flying" to Israel, Passover seder w/whole school, "fly to Israel", etc.) - Caring, positive attitude & being optimistic
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Talented, kind, wise, and friendly. 100% in any case. Everyone was there to help no matter what.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Make the teaching methods better (P.E., playground, etc.)
Ways to make it better...
I had a better P.E. class and dance class
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Getting kids to come
One thing I'd also say is that...
This school is something extraordinary - no doubt about it. The things that I wrote could be better, I think.
