Review for At The Crossroads, San Francisco, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Rob Gitin's At The Crossroads crosses barriers unlike no other outreach organization in San Francisco. The enormous appeal and response by homeless youth to the ATC staff is a testament to the philosophy and unconditional support offered to young people on the street. Enabling and empowering young peeple to reach more satisfying lives has been the core mission and the success rate is a model to other organizations.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The grateful faces of the young people receiving products (clothes, phone cards, food)and personal guidance and attention from staff.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Expand fund raising efforts to ortanizations such as Great*Nonprofits and other private foundations.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

...unconditional support, love and the belief that each person is worth saving. "If you've saved one human, you've saved the world." - Kaballah

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

.fully committed and yet, underpaid.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... the model of unconditional care and compassion for homeless youth.

Ways to make it better...

ATC was double the size it is.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Solidifying an infrastucture that could carry the organization through staff changes and leadership vacuum.

One thing I'd also say is that...

ATC is worthy and deserving of any and all available funds to further it's cause.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
