Review for Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation, Wexford, PA, USA
October 16, 2013
I have been involved with the SCA Foundation for more than three years. First and foremost, they help my public charity - slicc.org - accomplish our mission by serving both as an information resource and as an advocate for what we are trying to accomplish.
The SCA Foundation provides a terribly valuable service to the victims of a sudden cardiac arrest and to their families. The SCA Foundation provides a forum in which these people can interact with others in similar situations, with control of the extent of the interaction in the hands of the member.
Cardiac arrest survivors slowly transition through the first three years of their survival. Too often people assume that survivors are in one bucket. The truth that the SCA Foundation brings to the table is that the survivor's and their family members' outlooks are different and change with time.
I support the SCA Foundation, and so do our volunteers.
