I have seen first-hand for several years how this organization provides a safe place for children to gather after school and during the summer months. While at the Club, members are able to get valuable help with school work, able to learn new skills such as gardening and cooking, and able to develop positive social and character skills through many interactive programs and activities. The administrative team does a remarkable job managing the resources provided and those they obtain through many individual and private donor sources.

The Boys and Girls Club of the Pee Dee does a fantastic good of providing a safe, clean, caring place for children in our area to attend and become involved rather than being left at home or "on the streets". Studies confirm that participants in our Boys and Girls Clubs do better in school and have a higher self esteem than their peer groups. As as donor and boardmember, I apprciate how effecive our area clubs are with the limited resources provided.
