My name is Jason Rodriguez, I was the first to graduate from Jacob's Hose. Much of what Penny taught me then is used in my everyday life. Who would of thought teaching a kid to hang curtains or make his bed would help him understand how to manage an office today. She always told me never to run from her, but to her because she loved me just like I was her own. It was that kind of love that saw me through the tough times of my teenage years. The van, the clothes, trips, all where building blocks to show me the way. Now that I am married and have 2 beautiful girls, 6 and 4 I know how to build them with some of the same blocks Penny put before me to show me that life is more than broken promises and dead ends, Now I have life and the road seems far from a dead end, now I see the mountains.
