My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Multinational Exchange for Sustainable Agriculture (MESA), Berkeley, CA, USA
I can tell that after finishing this program I have learned a lot about myself, my weakness and skills. Now I am convinced that Ecuador has a lot of opportunities in agriculture. Social changes have to start from the base of every economic system, which is agriculture, and I think I can promote healthy agriculture and local consumption. Even though in the beginning I had to make a lot of effort in order to adapt and find my place comfortable, I have enjoyed my time here and I am sure that this experience is the kind of memory that is printed in my eyes and heart forever. I know that I have skills to become a farmer and work for my community. I believe in agriculture and the connection between the soil and the soul. The responsibility of growing food is enough to motivate me to dedicate my life to the fields and the people.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the development of multiple Home Country Projects that stewards from Ecuador have started in their home communities.
