I first found Project Perry on line. The more I read about their philosophy and goals, the more I liked what they are doing. Although I am located in central NY, an opportunity brought me to northern Virginia and Matt graciously accepted my request to visit and actually see their operations. To say I was impressed is an understatement. From the moment I stepped out of my car, it was clear this was a well organized, well structured and supported operation which truly focuses on providing a kind and caring environment for all their charges. Their efforts have inspired me to begin plans to create a similar opportunity for the rescue and rehabilitation of companion birds here in Central NY. We may not ever be as successful as Project Perry, but we are working to achieve their standards of excellence and compassion.
