Review for Dor Chadash USA, Inc., New York, NY, USA
I started out as a volunteer with Dor Chadash, helping plan parties back in the old days. Now Dor Chadash has become a forum for me to engage my community in a way that makes a tangible difference. I have chaired a Yom Haatzmaut event with over 1700 attendees, as well as small events with 100 attendees - it brings me great satisfaction to contribute to bringing together a room full of like minded people who can connect with Israel and each other. Dor Chadash has enabled me to participate in the strengthening of my community, while at the same time strengthening my leadership skills. The growth of social action at Dor Chadash is a welcome development and future springboard for more community involvement.
