Review for American Committee For Melabev Inc, N Hollywood, CA, USA
I worked for Melabev for just under 4 years. The people working on organizational level, group coordinators and staff working in direct contact with service users, are what makes this organization special. Unlike similar organizations (and as a sociological researcher I have visited many in Israel and overseas, Melabev is marked by a warm family-like atmosphere. The humane, person-oriented approach enable the most severely impaired of individuals to feel loved and at home from the first moment. Melabev showed me how well a top professional workplace and a human service organization can operate when everyone has the same agenda. It taught me that such organizations can both have a heart and a head - enabling demented seniors regain a sense of dignity, individual accomplishment, joy, togetherness and love.

Dear Charlotte, It was wonderful to read your review. You are missed - but it was great seeing you at the dedication of the new center. Yes, more funds would enable more of the great work that the therapists and other professionals accomplish with the older adults in our care. Best, Susan
