Review for Rwandagirls, MEDINA, WA, USA
Astounding and inspirational, the Rwanda Girls Initiative is bringing change, talent and hope to a country with a devastating history. The girls at the Gashora Girls Academy have dreams to be astronauts, pediatric oncologists, computer scientists and so much more.
I first got involved with RGI after a 2011 trip to Rwanda with the Wharton School. I then joined a team working with Soozi and Shal to help ensure the school could continue to support the most promising girls all over Rwanda for years to come. Change starts with education, and girls are a critical piece in that equation. The staff and girls are dedicated to make sure this mission comes to life.
