Review for Seafarers House Inc, Port Everglades, FL, USA
This non-profit serves the merchant marines from all over the world who ship our goods to us. The mariners endure many hardships - away from their families for weeks and months, poor pay, uncomfortable living conditions, long hours, and no assurance that they won't be unemployed at the next port and stuck there without legal/medical/logistical help. But Seafarer's House is there to help! They provide legal support, medical advice, spiritual help and a home-away-from-home where the mariners can relax, use the computers and phones to contact their loved ones and have a meal. This non-profit operates on a shoestring budget and does it with uncommon cheer and humanity.

I would get them more money, more staff, more resources and wider recognition for the great work they do.
